HANOVER FIRE-RESCUE
744 Hanover Street
On September 1, 2007 a fire was reported at 744 Hanover Street. Hanover Rescue 1 and Ladder 1 responded to find heavy smoke from the second floor of an apartment structure. The fire quickly went to a working fire which brought all of Hanover's apparatus to the scene along with Rockland Engine 3 to Hanover Headquarters for coverage. A second alarm was ordered by Deputy Chief Blanchard which brought Rockland Engine 3, Pembroke Engine 8 and Hanson Tower 1 to the scene. Station coverage was provided by Norwell Engine 1 and Abington Engine 2 during the incident.
