HANOVER FIRE-RESCUE
83 Oldfield Drive
On August 30, 2006 Hanover Fire-Rescue responded to a reported dryer fire at 83 Oldfield Drive. Hanover Car 1, Car 2, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, Ambulance 1, Engine 1 and Engine 3 were dispatched on the initial alarm. Car 1 was first on scene and Chief Blanchard took command and reported a working house fire. Rescue 1 arrived on scene and took an attack line to the basement level where they discovered a fully involved one room fire with potential spread to the remainder of the residence. The crew of Rescue 1 made quick work of the fire and extensive overhaul was conducted. Hanover Engine 4 was requested to the scene to assist with overhaul operations.
