On July 1, 2007 the Hanover Fire Department consolidated its four call fire stations.  Station 1 on Main Street and Station 2 on Broadway were both closed.  Call Firefighters formerly assigned to Station 1 were re-assigned to Station 3 and Call Firefighters formerly assigned to Station 2 were re-assigned to Headquarters.  Apparatus assignment was also changed.  The consolidation of these stations will improve manning of requested apparatus which will improve the overall response of the Hanover Fire Department.

Engine 6 *is currently used as a spare engine assigned to Station 1 on Main Street and is capable of being placed into service   when needed.*
