CERT Training Offered To Residents

Whether you met us at Hanover Day, at our Emergency Management Night last spring at the High School, at a club meeting or heard about us from a friend or current team member, we are excited about getting to know you, and having you join our Community Emergency Response Team!      Please join us for:

CERT Training

Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 7:00 pm

Hanover Town Hall, Large Hearing Room 1st floor

550 Hanover St.

This 9 week program begins Sept 18 and will run consecutive Thursday evenings ending on November 13.  During this course you will learn about disaster preparedness for hazards found in our area; basic disaster response skills including fire safety, light search and rescue; team organization; and disaster medical operations.

Upon completion of CERT training you will be better prepared to assist others in your neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.  CERT members are also encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community.
